PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Renholmen’s planer feed table is a robust, powerfully designed link in the planing chain. The extremely rapid side-shift has been developed to minimise the need for acceleration into the planer. The machine is a profitable alternative for customers who require a functional, efficient machine that can cope with everything from panels to construction planing. Smooth top and bottom feed rollers ensure gentle handling of the timber. Other advantages include electric drive instead of hydraulics, as well as height adjustment during the setting of new dimensions via electric actuators.

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
The machine comprises angled, underlying, wide rollers that, together with a powered end-stop, even up the ends and buffer one layer forwards to the land side. The powered end chain contributes to the rapid side-shift through the feeding pressure it supplies at the board end. When the boards move in towards the land, they are secured in place by the air-damped, overlying, angled and conical feed rollers, which rapidly accelerate the speed to that the gap to the preceding piece is eliminated. The distinct acceleration means that the impact that occurs when the piece catches up with the preceding one is minimised.
The overlying feeder and straightedge, as well as the side pressure rollers, ensure feeding up to the planer.
