A more extensive upgrade in Nyby

 

Setras sticker stacker at Nyby sawmill, just outside Uppsala, was delivered by Renholmen in 1986. After 24 years and only smaller modifications it is time for a larger upgrading. The unscramblers will get new inverter drives. The single feeder will get a new buffer conveyor and a quick loading chain conveyor. The active buffer control system Conrad Light will complete the single feeder. The old transfer arms will be replaced by new twistables arms. The stick feeding system will be replaced by a complete new one made for 11 sticks. Last but not least will the old Modicon Plc control system be replaced by a new Siemens S7.
Delivery will take place in December.
