Our history
| 1951- | The company was established. The main production consisted of hydraulic geardriven pumps and repairs. |
| 1953- | Manufacture of wheel loaders for Kewaco, later also for Bröderna Lundbergs. |
| 1962- | Hydraulic log grapples are being developed and manufactured. |
| 1968- | 20 employees are manufacturing grapples and moulding tools for Skega AB. |
| 1973- | The company moves to new-built premises in Byske. Manufacture of sawmill equipment is a new, and rapidly growing business. |
| 1997- | Troponor AB buys Renholmen and is now responsible for the product group Lumber Handling in the Troponor group of companies. |
| 1999- | Troponor AB is united with the Sorb Invest group of companies and the name of the company is changed into Sorb Industri AB, a group of companies with more thana900 employees and an annual turnover of approximately1,1MSEK. |
| 2003- | FeRex, who become the new owner of Renholmen's workshop is coming from the town of Piteå and is buying the machinery and moving their whole business activity to Byske. |
| 2004- | New name. The change is not very dramatic, though. The new name is Renholmen AB instead of the previous name Renholmens Mekaniska Verkstad AB |
